|
Europa Caravans is looking to double it's production to meet the demand from Europe by moving to Wykeland's Wyke Works development on Hedon Road
The company currently makes between five and ten holiday homes per week but is looking to at least double production in it's new 46,000 sqft base.
According to Director Graham Oades the company is seeing significant increases in demand accross it's export and home markets and the new production facility will allow the company to meet this demand with capacity for further increases in the future. The move will also create further jobs.
Wyke Works is a joint venture between Hull City Council and Wykeland, and Dominic Gibbons, Director at Wykeland said, "Wykeland and Hull City Council are extremely pleased that we have been able to help Europa Caravans achieve the next step in the impressive growth of their business. The success of Wyke Works is proof the private and public sectors can work together for the benefit of the local economy".
Hull based property Agents' Garness Jones acted for Wykeland in securing Europa Caravans and Dale Gooderham commented; "We are really happy to have helped Europa find accomodation when they started out less than a year ago and to have again found them cost-effective space when they needed to expand". |
