European Industrial Services giant Eriks has taken possession of it's new flagship regional base on Grimsby's Europarc.
The 20,000 sqft centre will bring together distribution and repair divisions of the company for the Humber area and as the final touches are added, service manager Colin Daws and general manager Mick Ingall are looking forward to an improved working environment uniting separate sites in Grimsby and Scunthorpe.
Colin Dawes commented "This will be the biggest plant in the Humber region. We have brought two business operations together for the first time in the group; both will be operating under one roof and it has not been done on this scale before."
Having decided to locate at Peryton Park the premises have undergone s major fit-out involving Wykeland and the Eriks with the latter installing a 10-tonne overhead crane.
The company supplies and maintains electrical and mechanical engineering equipment and power transmission products used in a variety of heavy industries that are prolific in the area, including water, refining, chemical and food.
Mick Ingall added; " We looked at a variety of alternatives in North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and chose Peryton Park for what the building offered in terms of versatility for our use, but it also shows our confidence in the Industry here".
Their move in to Peryton Park now means the speculative development is fully occupied with Eriks joining RBG Limited, Mariner Packaging and North East Lincolnshire Council.
