Wykeland consortium submit application for 16 acre development on Flemmingate |

Local Developers Wykeland Group and CP Group in partnership with regeneration specialists Quintain Estates and Development have submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of a derelict part of Beverley Town Centre.
The application has been submitted following a year of consultation with the local authority, residents and the Beverley Chamber of Commerce and proposes to transform the 16-acre former Army Transport Museum and Clariant Chemicals site in to a vibrant mix of retail, leisure, offices and residential.
The £100m development will include a site set aside for Beverley College, seven shops ranging in size from 8,000 sqft up to 25,000 sqft, an 80-bed hotel, 40,000 sqft of offices, a cinema, 5 restaurants / cafes and new carbon-friendly homes. |
