Corus UK Limited saw the potential in a heavy engineering unit of Wykeland's on Exmoor Avenue in Scunthorpe and have agreed to take the premises on a 10 year lease.
The Corus steel mill is Scunthorpe's largest employer but despite the substantial production of various steel products they did not have a steel shop in the town itself. When 12 Exmoor Avenue became availabler Corus soon spotted the potential of the unit with its crane rails, attractive front and good location. The property is on the established Skippingdale Industrial and Retail Estate and has fantastic links in to Scunthorpe and the M180. |
